A week on from announcing a gig in Belfast for the end of the month, The Strokes have now revealed details of their next album, The New Abnormal.

The Strokes last album, Comedown Machine was released in 2013 and bar for one EP released in 2016, it’s been pretty quiet since then for the band.
That all changed last week, when the ‘Reptilia’ band announced they were returning to Belfast at the end of the month for a show at the Waterfront Hall.
While Ireland slept after another day of vote counting, The Strokes partied at an election rally in support of Democrat, Bernie Sanders. The rally came on the eve of the Presidential candidate vote in New Hampshire for the upcoming US election.
During the performance frontman, Julian Casablancas revealed details of their next album, The New Abnormal. Debuting new songs ‘Bad Decisions’ and what has turned out to be the lead single from the album, ‘At The Door’.
It was a set rammed with all the songs that have bestowed the legendary status upon the New York band. Including a clash with the police during the perfectly-timed ‘New York City Cops’ from their album, Is This It?

The band’s new single, ‘At The Door’ was released this morning with a trippy but heart-wrenching animated video to go with.
