So you finish recording your EP and you want to celebrate in style? Then that can be booking your first tour of the UK, which is what Bullet Girl have done.
Kicking the tour off in Manchester on November 14th, the band will be playing five shows across the country, finishing up in London on November 21st.
The ‘Concrete Bed’ outfit are set to release their EP in spring 2022, which was produced by Girl Band’s Daniel Fox. An EP touching on growing up in the capital, social issues and their youth, guitarist Dylan Keenan said:
”Our aim was to write an EP that reflected the similar experiences we had growing up. We’ve all been friends since we were teenagers and now as adults in our early twenties we are able to reflect on our youth with a newfound sense of perspective.
“Even in the more politically charged moments on the EP we were always focused on keeping the songs deeply rooted in our own personal experiences.”
Over the last three years Bullet Girl have toured heavily around Dublin. Most recently the band played two sold-out shows in Mike the Pies and The Button Factory over the summer.
In November 2019, we caught them opening for Feet at The Sound House. This is what we had to say at the time:
”Bullet Girl wasted no time and swiftly took to the stage, lambasting the intimate venue with explosive rock. Fast-paced and not a moment to catch a breath, Bullet Girl were ferocious.”
