Quiet Lights Festival to return to Cork

Quiet Lights Festival is set to return to Cork this November, warming up those long nights with a host of new folk and experimental artists.

Ye Vagabonds are set to return to Cork as part of Quiet Lights.

Pitched as a small scale festival with a big heart, Quiet Lights will return to Cork City from November 22nd to November 24th.

The festival will take over Cork, with gigs throughout the heart of the city. Concerts will take place in Coughlan’s, Live at St. Luke’s, the rejuvenated Kino, Triskel Christchurch, Sirius Arts Centre, The Roundy, St Peter’s and The Chapel at Griffith College.

Organised by Island, the music company have snagged Cormac Begley, along with Liam O’Connor for opening night. While Lankum will return to Cork, performing in Live at St. Lukes.

Another pair of stellar bookings for Quiet Lights include Dublin duo Ye Vagabongs and Rozi Plain.

Rozi released her latest album, What A Boost! earlier this year to critical acclaim. Her addition to the line-up makes for the perfect curtain call, when she closes the festival in Coughlan’s on November 24th.

Making a return to Leeside, Peter Broderick will take over Triskel Christchurch on November 22nd for what will be a mesmerising performance in an intimate setting.

Also on the line up will be Cork songstress Elaine Malone, both with her band and also under her other project Mantua. There’ll be performances also from Junior Brother, Anna Mieke, Maria Sofia, Sun Collective, All The Brave Hunters, to name just a few.

Tickets for all the shows are on sale now and available from the Quiet Lights website.
