Spring King return with new single ‘The Hum’
Two years since their storming debut, Spring King are back with new single ‘The Hum’, ahead of the release of album number two.

Spring King are back and back with a bang. On Tuesday, the Macclesfield indie-rockers premiered their lead single ‘The Hum’ on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, also revealing details of their second album.
’The Hum’ roars to life right from the start and doesn’t relent. It’s a song with quirky riffs, bubbling tension and capped off with a shout-a-long chorus. Singing about the things you have and the place your from, it’s a reflective and nostalgic outlook from frontman Tarek Musa.
Musa sings about revelling in his past and trying to capture those emotions felt at that time. Yet he looks forward and uses it to spur him on; “I felt the beauty, I felt the love, there’s no light from up above… come so far, come so far, to lose it all…”.
Spring King have returned with a thrilling single, that’ll leave you struggling to wait for more when the album A Better Life, is released on August 31st.

‘The Hum’, Spring King’s new single is available to stream and download now. Listen to the first song taken from A Better Life, below.
