CHVRCHES announce UK & Ireland tour
The Scottish trio CHVRCHES, are coming back home early 2019, as their world tour for their latest album Love Is Dead, continues.

CHVRCHES are a band that have grown with each album they’ve released and with a bigger sound, comes a bigger tour. They released Love Is Dead, they’re third album, earlier this year to critical acclaim. The album was the follow-up to 2016’s Every Eye Open.
Love Is Dead broke the top 10, peaking at number 7 in the UK charts, which featured The National’s frontman Matt Berninger, who duetted with Lauren Mayberry for the single ‘My Enemy’.
Currently on the road, the Glasgow natives recently returned for a hometown performance at TRNSMT Festival. Alongside them were Franz Ferdinand, Friendly Fires and The Killers, who brought the night to an end.
CHVRCHES have gained a reputation for their thrilling live shows and are currently in the midst of a tour across Australia, before heading to America later this year.
Over the weekend, the ‘Clearest Blue’ synth-pop band revealed they’ll be embarking on a UK and Ireland tour in February 2019. The Love Is Dead tour will kick off in London’s Alexandra Palace on February 7th.
For those who can relate maybe too well to the album and tour name, ease those Valentines Day blues by catching them in Manchester on February 14th at Victoria Warehouse.
The band will also return to Glasgow for another homecoming show, when they perform at the SSE Hydro on February 16th. CHVRCHES will round off the UK and Ireland leg of the tour with a gig in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on February 21st. Check out the full tour dates below.
Tickets for the Love Is Dead tour go on sale this Friday (July 20th) at 9am and will be available via Ticketmaster.
