The Killers unveil new Christmas album
The Killers have returned for the holidays with another seasonal track with the band also releasing a Christmas album.
For the tenth year, the Hot Fuss rockers have unveiled another festive song to get us all into the Christmas spirit.
Each year the band have released a Christmas track in aid of (RED) Foundation, founded by U2 frontman, Bono. This year is no different as the band return not just with one Christmas song but an entire album. The album consists of the bands previous holiday releases, such as ‘Joel The Lump of Coal‘ and ‘Don’t Shoot Me Santa‘.
The Killers’ holiday album, titled Don’t Waste Your Wishes, was unveiled yesterday and is available to listen to on streaming services now. The record consists of eleven songs to help kickstart the festive season, featuring new song ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas“. On the album, special guests in the shape of Elton John, Jimmy Kimmel and Dawes.
The Christmas album is to coincide with the (RED) Foundations’ 10th anniversary, with all funds proceeds through Apple’s US store going towards the cause to help towards the battle against AIDS.
Don’t Waste Your Wishes will be released on December 9th as a limited edition CD via The Killers’ website with all funds raised going towards the Global Fund.
