The Temper Trap return with new song ‘Fall Together’
It’s been four years since Australian lads, The Temper Trap released their self-titled second album but today sees the indie band return to the scene with new single ‘Fall Together‘.
The Quartet released the single earlier today along with the details of album number three and a few tour dates. The album, Thick As Thieves is scheduled for release on June 10th, via Glassnote Records.
They’re set to hit the UK for a small tour, including the Dot to Dot Festival in Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham next month.
Thick As Thieves is the first time the band have sought outside help during the writing process, Lana del Rey collaborator, Justin Parker, helping pen some songs on the new record with the likes of Pascal Gabriel, Ben Allen and Malay, who worked with Frank Ocean to co-write and produce his album, Channel Orange all appearing on the album too.
‘Fall Together‘ is loud, boisterous and feels like it was handcrafted for radio. A sing-out-loud chorus, techno vibes in parts and that distinct voice of frontman, Dougy Mandagi, it reminds us exactly what The Temper Trap are… A fun, exciting and diverse band.
